In April 2010, over 35,000 gathered in Cochabamba, Bolivia for the First Peoples Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Nature.  Global Exchange was there along with many other organizations committed to bringing about a universal recognition of the Rights of Nature.  View a short film by Global Exchange on this dramatic conference from which the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Earth emerged.
