Are you a defender of the Rights of Mother Earth? Are you working to advance the recognition and protection of the Rights of Nature?

We invite you to become a member of the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature.

We are an international network of organizations, communities and people committed to recognizing and defending the Rights of Nature. Founded in Ecuador in 2010, GARN serves as a global hub for connecting and fostering relationships, knowledge exchange, and to promote the collaboration between actors and organizations to advance the understanding and implementation of Rights of Nature.

The members of the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature are a diverse network of scientists, attorneys, economists, Indigenous elders and experts, authors, spiritual leaders, artists, students, organizations, and activists from around the world. GARN and all its dedicated members are looking to transform our human relationship with our planet and offer a network of experienced, supportive allies for communities, groups, governments, and others who are advancing and defending Earth Rights-based thinking, community actions, and legal systems that recognize and respect the Rights of Nature.

We are excited to welcome you to our network and we look forward to working with you to advance and defend the Rights of Nature!
